Blow your scarf away...





I know I am way behind on cool things or whatever (always a few steps slower than the others), but this is amazing! and it's no way "out of date". The Maison Hermès window display in Tokyo was constructed by the Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka in 2010.The store front uses timed videos of a woman blowing and hidden fans to highlight one of Hermes’s most iconic accessories, their silk scarves.

minimalistic approach = super elegant and beautiful.

Art History Allusions



This was from the spring lookbook from Vigossa, a denim company based in the USA.
I've never wore their jeans before, so I couldn't comment on that.
The only thing I was interested in was their fun allusions to the old masters paintings.

Most of them are pretty well done, some not so much (almost seems forced), but overall I think the influence of the old to the new is quite an inspiration!
